Secure Data Room · CUI Repository

Secure files throughout the life cycle.

The RegDOX Secure Data Room (SDR) tracks sensitive and regulated files across their entire life cycle: from creation, through distribution, until destruction or archive. One repository, encrypted, ransomware-protected, and audit-ready.

What it does

A repository that proves itself

SECURE DATA ROOM YOUR TEAM WORKS INSIDE · EDIT IN PLACE · VERSIONED · TRACKED ENGINEERING PROGRAM MGMT QUALITY CONTRACTS WHEN OUTSIDE PARTIES NEED IN A LINK · EXPIRES NO ATTACHMENT PAGES AS IMAGES NOTHING STORED ACCESS EXPIRES EVERY EDIT, VIEW, AND SEND · INSIDE OR OUT · LOGGED IN THE AUDIT TRAIL

The SDR gives organizations a centralized, compliant repository for storing and managing Controlled Unclassified Information. Built to meet U.S. federal standards including DFARS, ITAR, and all CMMC levels, it keeps sensitive data controlled and audit-ready throughout its life.

Most days, the room is where your own people work: engineers, program managers, quality, and contracts, all touching the same technical data under one set of controls. And when the work reaches outward, boardroom communications, legal matters, M&A, supplier exchanges, the same room carries it past the firewall with the evidence trail intact.

Organize & control access
  • As many data rooms as the work demands: per program, per contract, per customer, centrally managed
  • Permissions at every level: room, folder hierarchy, and individual document
  • Roles and team groups define who can view, edit, download, or manage
  • Publishing rules and security categories decide exactly who sees what
  • Time-constrained access and SAML 2.0 sync with your existing teams
Secure & prove
  • End-to-end encryption at rest and in transit, with LockBox ransomware protection
  • Multi-factor authentication, secure viewer, watermarking, and Brainmark®
  • Tamper-proof, time-stamped audit trail on every touch
  • Operator and provider shielding: even administrators can't read your content
The everyday

Your team, inside the room

Before the supply chain ever enters the picture, the room is where your own CUI-cleared team does its daily work: same files, same controls, no copies drifting onto laptops and inboxes.

Work the files

Office, round-trip

Open Microsoft Office documents from the room, edit in the native application, and save straight back, with autoversioning, modification tracking, and encrypted transmission handling the bookkeeping. When the SDR runs inside the CCE, Office documents open with OnlyOffice inside the enclave, and the file never leaves.

Stay in sync

The team, notified

Personalized homepages show each person their tasks, changes, and messages. Watch lists trigger notifications on the documents and folders that matter to them, and the Collaboration Center tracks what's still open.

Find it fast

Order that keeps itself

Naming conventions enforced across folder hierarchies, automatic hierarchical indexing, full-text search, and a room calendar tying deadlines and milestones to the documents behind them.

When outside parties do need in, primes, suppliers, auditors, bidders, the delivery machinery below takes over, without your internal workspace ever changing shape.

Compliance mapping

How SDR moves your compliance forward

The SDR on its own maps directly to the control set that is the foundation of CMMC Level 2

The repository does compliance work every day it runs, and its tracking and audit functions prove compliance.

The delivery model

Nothing leaves as an attachment

The Secure Data Room replaces the riskiest habit in document work, attaching files to email, with delivery that stays under your control end to end.

Links, not attachments

Delivery you can revoke

Recipients get a link to the document in the room, not a copy in their inbox. External recipients who aren't room members get time-limited secure links, and the audit trail logs the whole download, editing, and distribution history.

Secure Document Viewer

Pages, not files

The patented viewer serves pages one at a time as tiled images in the browser. The original file never reaches the device, page views are logged, and nothing remains on the accessing device when the session ends.

Rights that travel

Control after download

When download is permitted, digital rights management keeps the policies live on the file itself: a personal encrypted copy, unopenable by others, blocked the moment its validity period expires.

Outlook, tamed

A secure Outlook add-in

Users send from Outlook as always, and the add-in swaps attachments for secure links, storing the files and the message itself in the room. The habit survives. The risk doesn't.

Governed to the day

Administration an assessor can love

  • Security categories: protection levels like "Strictly Confidential" with configurable safeguards per document
  • Retention periods: items held exactly as long as required, in days, and no longer
  • Time-constrained access: access windows enforced per item, regardless of a user's standing permissions
  • Proxies, audited: acting-on-behalf authority with the audit trail showing exactly who did what
  • Operator shielding: application and systems administration fully separated, with two-person approval on security-relevant admin functions
  • Archive reports: a point-in-time export of exactly what a specific user could see at a specific date, readable offline in a browser
  • Room templates & Data Room Center: new rooms stood up in minutes with preconfigured roles, structures, and policies
  • Enterprise identity: SAML 2.0 integration with your existing user management
